She speaks not natural at all, eventhough, she is the MC.. She speaks very natural in Lao, but when she was interviewed by Thai, her voice changed a lot and seemed she had not confident at all.
I think she is Vietnamese girl. I don't understand why Laotian people refuse to speak Thai language when they in Thailand.
If they speak Thai ...they will be vanished....without a trace...speaking Thai bring shame to lao people....I thought speaking any language would make lao person look smart ...

I think Phuong and the the girl they interview are from Savannakhet, am I right? I though people in Savan have Tai Tai accent. How some they speak in Viengchan accent?
Because thai ppl are so stupid,,when i ask them in lao they don't understand , but when i said mother f--er in lao they mad at me, so what you think about that,, hahahahaha
Languish may represented Laos but for the life of me I can't remember when was the last time I saw Laos people have a natural blond hair! I have noting against hair coloring but this is too much out of place. I understand that they are trying to keep up with an outside world but come on!!!!
She said one of her resume is broadcasting, ahhhh.. The way she stumble answering question she does not look like a broadcaster to me. She looks good though.

She is probably in the broacasting business but might not be a new reporter and does not have experience talking in front of the camera.

I agree with you guys. I think its stupid how many laotians become upset when a laotian star gets interviewed by thai media and don't speak perfect laotian. for example, alexandra bounxeoui isn't 100% articulate in lao and she is always getting bashed by many of her own people for stumbling in interviews. ananda everingham grew up in thailand, doesn't speak much lao, although his mother is full lao, and laotians are so ashamed that he can't speak lao. if you are in america, you would speak english. if you are in thailand, why not speak thai (if you can)? we need to look at the big picture here. being fluent in more than one language shouldn't be a bad thing. it just means you are educated and intelligent. i once dated a thai person (i know some of you will probably be upset upon hearing this) and his family was very kind to me. and they were even impressed that i can understand and speak some thai. some laotians have way too much pride. not ALL thai people are out to get you.

low selfesteem does not justify why some laotians are bashing on the girl in this video, or on alexandra, or ananda. just because she dyed her hair and doesn't speak perfect laotian, some people are acting like she's a piece of $hit. at least she is doing something to put our country on the map.
I have no problem with her but maybe that is because I am not Lao. I am LAO OCEAN.
I don't care what language she speak to the Thai interviwer. Who or why do we even care. She is Lao and representing Lao. That is all it should matter.
FYI.....you know when Alexandra was here she was interviewd by VOA (I think) she said someting like it was bad that LAO OCEAN kids can't speak Lao properly.
