It looks very modern, isn't it?
If all the Tuk Tuk in Laos has a design like this, it would be  great

look good. less place for suitcases, but look more modern and comfortable.

electric would be better again than natural gas.... just hope we just have to wait a few years to be able to get better batteries at low price, and for sure we can do it.

do you know that many universities around the world are working on such project?

I think the two back seats should be lower. They are a little too high for local Lao people or for Asia tourists in Laos.

Wheels are too small for its size. It's very dangerous and unsafe if accident would happen.

Any 3 wheelers are unsafe. There were 3-wheel ATV few years back but it was unsafe due to many flipping over. So they are all gone and replace with 4 wheels ATV now. I am not saying Tuk Tuk use same way as ATV but regardless it is unsafe in a high traffic and in certain road conditions. This type of vehicles would be good for a short ride in a flat surface road. I like to see them in an airport transporting people ffrom parking lot to terminal, from tarmac to terminal, from building to building in a resort setting. You guy get the idea.

The passenger seats are not comfortable and too high. Anyone knows that is the horsepower of this tricycle? Can it carry six passengers and a driver, too?
