The 32^nd Southeast Asia Shooting Championships 2008 took place from September 20^th – 30^th at the National Shooting Range, the Hanoi National Sports Training Center.

10 shooting teams from regional countries and territories participated, namely Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Laos, Vietnam and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (China).

Men's 50m rifle three positions:

Gold: Vu Thanh Hung of Vietnam with 1,245.5 points
Silver: Kasmijan Bin Kimin of Singapore with 1,176.8 points
Bronze: Phet Da Van of Laos with 1.103 points

men's 50m rifle three-position team event:

Gold: Vietnam (3,416 points)
Silver: Laos (2,991 points)
