Street fight pound per pound Muay Thai would not stand a chance against Jeet Kune Do, or Jujitsu and Thai has wakened up to reality because they finally have an open-minded mentality. If you visit any Muay Thai camps in U.S they are taught along with grappling, throwing, wrestling and submitting. If you throw a shin kick on the guy, you would likely be wrestled down to the ground and you will be put in submission quickly if you only know Muay Thai assuming that your opponent has ground fighting skill. No. Not fighting anyone.
I saw few youtube video on Jeet Kune Do. The kick and punch does not seem like it have lot of power. I love to see a video of a Muay Thai guy fighting Jeet June Do guy.
I think the new style fighting like the UFC which deal with lot of grappling and wrestling incorporate Muay Thai into their fighting skill rather than the other way around.

I don’t think is the style that makes a trainee lack power, it has to do with a person. I never trained in Jeet Kune Do because only a couple guys were certified by Bruce Lee. If you know Muay Thai and Jujitsu then is more than enough no need to waste anymore time in other forms of Marital Arts.

Thank you for sharing the video but it is a standing fight based on Muay Thai rule. MMA and UFC fighters don’t have to stand toe to toe with you, and by the way, I saw this video already; I enjoyed it so much.
