That was exactly what Vang Pao and his 10 gang tried to do in June 2007. They tried to overthrow the Lao Gov. , kill innocent people and bomb the historic buildings if the U.S. Agents did not arrest them first. Thanks Budda, now they are in jail for life and can't do nothing anymore.
shame on vang pao.... i dont know truth but in regaurds to vang pao
this is how i thnk things went and why hmong think laos belongs to them...
laos was divided in two the royalist aka sided with america communist sided with vietnam and china and russsia
wit that the royalist army gave vangpao command of his ppl not even sure if it was lao king gave him that position since hmongs were important to the cia they might have put him in power of his ppl
with that vangpao thought he had the right to try to take over laos if u ask me cia was trying to pull off one of their little plans to benefit the U.S. only and not lao as a country.
any way lao is doing good now not the best but heading in the right direction. i jus hope someday the lao who fled and the lao who stayed will be united again as brothers. as things should have been.
one questoin why do hmongs in the U.S that want democracy in laos have the banner of our lanxang with them. they make it seem all of laos is on there side while i think we should let the past be the past.
