For me the best place in Laos to relax my mind is inside the cave or in big forest.

I prefer to stay inside in house, it is even calmer and many trees around my house...

Heat, humidity, bugs, mosquito, smell, mud, and most of all.............where is the bathroom? But if people don't mind or are use to it, then it is a very nice place.

I want to add one more thing.

Only people who had live or living in a comfortable life style would think of renting a place like this for a days or weeks.

I will bet majority of Lao people would not waste their money to rent it.

No, all those huts were flooded back in late August of this year.  The level of water was just few feet below the bridge deck.
