I wonder why they kept this outdoor. When the rain comes, this wood will decay and the color will fade away. Finally, its value will be something like a piece of log for fire wood disbelief

Wow!!! Nice work... The whole master piece is from one tree stump.  I wonder how long it took him or her to finish the piece.

One big old tree, probably more than 100 year olds from the forest, is used to supply human need. no

There is in Lao Traditional Culture park, near the friendship bridge (Thanalang village, VTE). This art was the gift from Malasia who gave for the Lao gov since the first time open this park year 1990s. I didn't know how mush is cost, but i knew only it made from Mai Sak

no, it a lao artist who carved this tree root, not a gift from anyone ! look at the that luang stupa at the top and lao women chatting with each other in front of their house.
