Why people think people who live in currently country has more right than another? What if all the khonlao going to re-united one more time, is that posibility to have the same equalization? I don't think Vanpao have any chance to step at Laos soil, he was banned from Laos...Lao government even tried not to let any body has the same his last name come in to Laos.
I have heard from his own kind of people, said that he was really upsetting for being traitor to the laos country during vietnam war. Especially, his people who were left behind the jungle of laos got persecuted by the laos goverment. Is that true? he shouldnt have got involved with the US goverment during the war and selling all his opium/heroin and making all the money and now he is really want to changed back to the old day when he was in laos.

i can understand why the local would have a small degree of indignation or righteous anger when the non-local ppl talk about nation building in the laos pdr.
it would be like having your younger brother go to college while you were denied the same opportunity because you have to work and take care of the family back home.
while trapped in the hopeless dream of going to college and travel, one day the younger brother comes home and starts setting out rules on how things need to be run at home.

I think, both of them, Uselesse king and Vangpao, never and unable to return to Laos because they did a lot of wrong doing with Lao people, even before they had the place to live , had the power and supported by American and now no place to live and become the second class of American and france and no body support them how they can come and take power ? if they return and visit laos, Lao Nai will kill them and trow their bodies into Mekong river and we no need the stupid and useless.
