Have you checked the Lao news today. They talk about Lao students in Vietnam who caused a lot of troubles because, many Lao students who got scholarship to study in Vietnam could not meet the standard and caused a lot of troubles to Vietnamese Universities. Many of them absent from the class and do not concentrate on studying. Some of them have to be sent back to Laos and lose the status of the scholarship. The Lao government is now finding new strategies to upgrade students who plan to study in Vietnam, and those who could not pass the exam, will not allowed to get the scholarship as before. More information can be found at this topic >>
This is really true situation happened in Vietnam. I am one of the student, and I really want the government to solve this problem as soon as possible.
Hey,.. - I know that vietnamese is not easy to learn , but as long as you guys concentrate on books, I think Lao students are ok to Pass the examine - i am not very clear that what was level of student that eligible to get the scholarship? I guess it's probably those who are not smart enough to study in Vietnam? however, don't play around during the study... Good luck
tru that tru that,,,, jus my piont of view but the viets prolly jus want them to speak only viet and become vietnamese i say rather not study in vietnam and try to go study some where else. i would say best place to study is japan. they are all about education.
not showing up to classes and problem in vietnam i can see only two reasons.
1) the lao students do not believein theri teachings,
FYI: I have learned from news, in Vietnamese Universities all subjects will be taught in English after 2020. Vietnamese education is not that bad. Their students have gained lots of International awards.
what are you expecting in vietnam, of cause you will be teached in vietnamese. i had a lot of friends from vietnam and i can say, that they were very hard working, studying ppl. please don't underestimate vietnam. (the vietnamese language is a different topic). from my own experience, i would tell you, that lao students (at high rate) weren't really care about studying when they were at school. vietnamese were different. the competition was huge. the same were koreans, but not mongolians. vietnamese were speaking hard foreign language,e.g they would say vietnamit, instead of vietnamese, difficult to understand, but on writting and reading were very good.
