tonight i will pray because soon this year will pass. this is the end of the year, a moment in time when some have something to be grateful of.
this is a moment when you will look back, reflecting on the days, weeks, and months that have passed. and it is that exact number of days you must substract from your life, to live means to die.
i am sorry to remind you of the images in other people's suffering. it is the only time i am reminded that the hearts are most open. it is the only time when people's lives are slow down enough and it is the only time they might see, hear, and feel the suffering not of their own.
it is the only time i will try to steal your heart and try to connect with you, with my love. I love you all because all that we have is each other. for we are of the same blood and born of the same race.
i will pray tonight. how can I do anything less.

I'll be praying for those starving childrens in Laos. It is depressing to see Laos still this poor. $10 probably will save a child from starving for a week. The next time I'm in Laos, I will be try to help those poor kid from small village.
