The Royal Shopping mall is said to rival the popular Phnom Penh’s Sorya Centre. Royal Shopping Gallery will be in four-storey along with 18-escalator and two-glass-encased-elevator complex.
Its designed with a “world class one-stop shopping centre and a must-visit hotspot” equipped with 350 parking bays for cars and another 19 for buses.
The site is built on a hectare of land with over 31,500 square metres of retail space. You can expect about 430 retail shop to include amusements and electronic games. The complex is also divided into “theme” zones catered to the trendy and fashion, beauty, food and beverage, cyber, lifestyle, leisure and entertainment. I would expect a Cinema to be included as well.
The Royal Shopping Gallery is targeted towards both the local as well as international tourists. The management plans to hold frequent gigantic roadside music and fountain light shows to attract day-to-day visitors and tourists alike.
I hope to look forward to more openings of these world-class shopping malls when I visit Siem Reap in the future because as a frequent traveler, I like to hang out at KFC for fried chicken, Pizza Hut for pizzas, McDonalds for burgers, Star Buck for my coffee or Kopitiam Malaysian-style steamed kaya bread when I am in Asia.
