yeah, i dont like it when people just post fragmented
story.

from what i can guess (and i dont care if this is bs because the dude who posted this topic just left this thread orphaned after so many days) the "lee phee" is a location where the
famous fagnum (lao dude who was adopted as son by the khmer king)

* fagnum - a lao prince who was adopted by the khmer king.

** "lee phee" - location where fagnum first met with the reverend monk, pasman, who
later introduced fagnum to the khmer king.

I have heard about this tree since I was a young boy. The tree name is called "Tonh Mai Ma Ni Kod" or "Ma Ni Kod" tree. It is said that this tree is magic.
 
It can be used for different purpose. Precisely, I don't know how tell in English in short. In Lao we say "Kok sih Tai, Pai sih Pen". So far nobody can use it because nobody can reach this tree.
