Lao language will never be forgotten. Learning English will certainly help you in the future. Don't you want to better yourself? English is the world language. This world is a business world. We survive on business. In order to do business with the world, you better damn know English. Other countries has spoken English for decades and I don't see them forgeting their own language. Rediculous to think that way.

I may not be smart, but i think I know that no matter how many languages you learn, the language that you are born with will never be forgotten or disappear. and I also know learning English is essential for everyone and we all are encouraged to learn. nowadays if you can't speak English, you are out of date... sorry for being too frank!
