Omnibus ticket for entry to all tourism sites in Luang Prabang
(KPL) A foreign tourist need to buy just one ticket and he will be entitled to visit all the tourism sites in Luang Prabang province and this is likely to be launched soon.
The motive behind the introduction of this new service is to try to get more tourists to visit the World Heritage site and to get them to stay longer, during the present high season.
The Provincial Tourism Service is now making plans to price one ticket at the rate of US$20 and its validity period is 30 days. However, Deputy Head of Provincial Tourism Service Khamtan Somphanh last week said there is still no confirmation on its implementation in the near future as it is still under serious consideration.
He also said that as part of the new plan, any Lao citizen can enter for free to all the tourism sites in Luang Prabang province
