They should not build it any taller. It seems very dangerous, The top of the building will be too heavy when they finish it, No one dares to work or live in this building.

The columns that are supporting the structures does not look very sturdy.
I hope it will not collapse.

It looks so scary, because the top is bigger than the bottom.
But I think is very good to have a big building in Vte.

It is GOOD to have a SAFE building. The life of people that will be working or sleeping there are far more important than a pretty building.

you guys!.......that building its not look like one million $ engineering!

but its work and safe. If they raise up more than 5 storys....im not sure!

Look at those supporting columns, the spacing on those columns are so far apart. It doesn't look like it could support much loads. If there's a minor earthquake, this building will be crashing down for sure.

this building has more 5 floors, from this picture those columns are very
thin about 25cm, should re-check on structure.
it's no anything wrong for having tall building if your engineer knowledge
can support it.

Don't worry about tall building in other countries. Worry about cheaply contructed building in your own Laos PDR.

I wonder how and why the builder get the building permit. Do they have any city department of engineering to study and approve or disapprove the building plan.

money can buy every thing. some of Lao engineers are unprofesianal but they though they are they can do every thing with a big mouth, they don't know what the profesinal really is. their idea just those building can stand that's all.

how do you know it's safe and work? for checking building safe or unsafe do not judge in short time.

If there are big earthquakes like in other countries, I don't think this tall and fragile building here in Vientiane will stand.

I think the building just to make the VTE, to look good. I wonder why don't high someone who is really good in architecture? Maybe they just high some viet contruction worker pay much cheaper, but hey! Make sure your building it last longer.
