Southern provinces of Laos including Champasak, Saravane, Zekoeng and Attapeu have signed last month an agreement on contract farming with Ubonrasathany province of Thailand.
The fifth contract signed at Champa Grand Hotel in Champasak province by the 9 companies of Laos and 18 companies from Thailand was 25 agreements with 25 items of goods, increased 11 items compared with the number of the last year's agreement.
The agricultural products to be sent for Thailand included cabbage, banana, white Chinese cabbage , cotton, job tears, soy bean, maize, beans, cassava, snake bean, chilli and sweet potato.
