Thaksin will return to Thailand soon, and then he will be assassinated by PAD member. And then Thailand will have a civil war. This is my prediction.

I still remember when the war of Ban Romkao was on its top heat and the thai side seem to make a losing battle. Mr. Prem ( I don't remember his position at that time) stated angrily at the thai TV relating the fight again lao army showing the trucks carrying wounded thai soldiers " LET'S CROSS THE MEKONG RIVER AND BURN DOWN VIENTIANE CITY AS WE DID JUST ONE CENTURY AGO " what a mad bloodthirsty man he is ! and he aferward said that he acknowledge that his grandmother was a laowoman... really, I don't want to hear the name of this old and dangerous man...

If Prem said this : "Let's cross the Mekong and burn down Vientiane as we did just century ago" .   Then we need to go down there helping the Red Shirt UDD brings down this Jerk Prem Tulsihookee.

Yellow shirts = a bunch of elites upper middle class wants a parliament with 70% of the members chosen by the king, 30% by the people. They want to keep the statusquo before Thaksin was in power. That is, poor rural class should remain slaves of the economy while the minority in Bangkok enjoy their wealth.

Red Shirts = everyone else (majority of Thai people) who liked Thaksin's reforms. That is, create opportunities for rural farmers to get better by giving them access to low interest rate loans - a practice applied in many places around the world - so they can start/expand their businesses. Of course there are many other reforms but let's just leave it as that.

Ivy coucil didn't like this Thaksin because it means they won't be in control of the economy with new wealth built in rural area. In the end, Thailand isn't a democracy because majority's voice isn't respected and the King can just throw out a government if it endangers the elites' influence/power.

UK Revoked Thaksin's Visa

BANGKOK - BRITISH authorities have revoked the visas of ousted Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his wife Pojaman, an airline official told AFP on Saturday.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the British embassy had informed all airlines in an email on Friday not to allow the couple to board flights to Britain.

'The British embassy sent an email message to all airlines operating from Bangkok on Friday that the British authorities had revoked the visa for Thaksin and Pojaman,' he said.

'It's (the email is) general practice for all airlines, so no airline can take them on board to England from any port,' he added.

as opposed to yellow shirts who wants a "democracy" where the king appoints 70% of the parliament?

yellow shirts' argument was "majority of Thai ppl did not know how what they vote for hence their votes should not dictate who's in power"

I personally hope they can overthrow the corrupt system - King and his Ivy league should have "NO" say in politics. They can't just have a coup whenever they feel like it.

i really dont thnk they want thailand to be communist i jus thnk the red shirts want things to be fair for every one in the whole country..

if anything red is more for democracy while yellow is more for keeping one class of ppl below them which is a stonage mentality.

change is coming to that country wether they like it or not. jus my opinion.

yo destiny comes in different forms.
