LAO PM nop only khu bar . not  nor mal people even he go to visite thai king he just low his heard( kom hua) th at is the way he do. alotof lao poeple will not nop only nop ku bar .
my classe mate when she work at  her office  the thaiking daughter come  visite her office she just kom hua she will not nop her.

That's not true, Lao people "nop" to show repect to people, not just monks.

I think the Communists when they took over discouraged the nop. I might be wrong, just my thought.

I like the nop ok but I like their reason for discouraging it, equality of all people and stuff. I'm also glad Laos isn't a kingdom. The Thais will only become a modern nation when the monarchy becomes a mere figure head. I think those are part of the reasons for not noping the king or princess.

In some ways Laos is futher developed. Some of the ideas from those old Kone Pa are pretty good.

Ban Nork Eee lee, don't you see that our PM also knows how to NOP. It has no relation with to be or not to be communist at all
