You have to state that the bridge is built across 'what river" between Laos & Vietnam, instead between Meuang Khuaa, Phongsaly and Dien Bien, Vietnam.

No way that Dien Bien Phu province will return to Laos. Most people who live in that province are Tai Dam, Thai Khao and Tai Daeng.

It is just like Lanna and Esan will not come back to Laos, It is like Champa will not go back to its old kingdom.

I used to visit ho chiminh and hanoi, it is widely known that our government is taking order from hanoi governement. So dont dream to take back dien bien phu just protect the current map is more than enough. I am so sad, that many people living in the countryside no nothing about politic.

has Laos2beLaos ever visited Phongsaly?

you cannot find any road like this in the entire province of Phongsaly, even in Muang Phongsaly *lol*
& the road from Muang Khua to the border with Vietnam still dissolves into mud & gets flooded every rainy season...

now i'm wondering about the accuracy of the info about Laos that Laos2beLaos posts...
