i am sure that some of Lao nork who grow up in Aboard never tried it
this animal come out when the climate hot,specially on April and May, Usually the people hunt it to be food.  Lao people grill them and then chop small pieces to make ' Larp" If you never tried it, welcome to Laos . but it is very hard to find it in the restaurant

Not everyone in Laos eat this.

Anyone 8 and above would have hunted it and ate it. Anyone below 8 would be too young.

because we don"t have anything else to eat, because we are poor
nowadays, the life condition is getting better in the city, but there are still many people in the countryside their foods rely on the forest and wild animal and wild vegetable. " Ka pom" i don't know how to call in English, is one of the wild animal that people can get from the forest or the tree next to ur house

this one is like " Ging ga" or whatever in english lives in near the river, People found it on the Sei Fangfai in the central Laos, i think its color can be changed with the color of tree and other environments

Yes!!!!!!! Back in those daysssss..  I used to hunt for them "ka pom" and YES!! I ate them before and it is pretty tasty.  If you guys want I have a good recipe on how to cook it.  hahahah
