that's called the work done by people in the least developed country. They don't have high technology equipment to make their works done faster. That's why they have to rely mostly on the human labors.
Not only laos used alot of manpower ok, i 've seen a lot in Thailand,China, vietnam,Cambodia, even in Hongkong, these Countries have a lot of high tech Equipments .But they still use a lot of man power ,Why? Becaues cheap labor.
great civilizations of the world was built with human power. with massive human labor, there still stood great wonders of the world, a testiment to the human labor and intellect.
also, human labor is great when it is available. it is clean and allows people to make a living.
