I think they all look a little bit the same. Lao's music is certainly improving. CELL is the best band of LAOS and can keep up with other band in the region... I like music particularly HEAVY METAL, I listen to Japanese heavy metal bands, Thai, as well as Vietnamese they are all playing well and can compare to Western Heavy Metal bands 100% no doubt.
Thai likes Lao song because it likes a remake version of Thai song. The lyric, meaning, rhythm and the music are like they were copied from Thai's and changed a little bit here and there. but I gotta admit that Lao did it better than Khmer because Khmer didn't change any thing at all they just copied 100% Thai song except the lyrics are in Khmer. but Lao did that too though but at least not with Thai song but with Japanses and English song.
Why are you guys so quick to judge? If you don't like their appearance then that's fine. But i like their music. I don't like them for their looks Their song is really good and thats that.
At least Idolz are getting pretty popular. They were invited to 7see concert with cells, l.o.g, Kimmy(temple guys), and modern dance.
For me I just support any Lao artist(s) that are good.
Lao music will never develop if all Lao people always think that Lao is copy from Thai. Can you tell me where in the world that has no copy of music rythm? Lao copy from thai, and Thai also copy from Korea, Korea copy from america and america copy from asia again. It is like a cycle and that's all about music.

Thai like to copy from everyone. Thai copy from falang, from Korea, from Lao,etc. I know a lot Lao songs that the Thai copy from Lao and change the lyrics. Thai is the copycat nation of the world. Thai like to take everything from Lao and change the name to Thai.
It's true that some of manies modern lao songs. The Song Writers are Thai and some time our artists must go to Bangkok to produce these music b'cos they have high quality standard music studio in Sounth East Asia same as in Suingapore.
I listen to Thai musics ..modern or country songs or song for life a lot so I knew who copy who. Same like Cambodia, I have been there awhile I found that the Thai songs that I knew also playing in Cambodian versions and also my Burmese friend also listen to her song and I ask her is it Thai song? She said yeah..It's in Burmese version.
Ya..I know that some of Thai song also copy from other country which is same as everywhere like normal but..they paid for "the copy right"
Today, Lao music have develop a lot and you know why some of Lao song hit into Thailand? If you know you might not be appreciated. I will say..The big music company in Lao but invested and supported by Thai businessman.
You think Lao music that hits in the Bangkok music top chart by the song its self? There is no way Lao song will goes there at the top if no one support. Ofcos.. Big money gona be use for this presentation and promote the artist and songs and Lao song is new for them and they feel "It's cool" so that's why?
I know you guys HATE Thailand too much in whatever what made you mad about it but not for me... I prefer to stand in the middle and open my mind to accepted. I have got respect from Thais and never get look down from them.

Yeah I respect Laos too, I just hate the ignorant one.

I like Golf and Mike a boy band Thai Pop singers. He is very famous not only in Thailand but also in Malaysia, Hongkong, Korea and Japan and they singing in Thai language!
if I was a Cambodian, i would feel upsad at all, because they have been through many wars, they just got peace in 1998. But we, laos, have peace for more than 30 years.

Maybe those 2 Thai boy actually 1/2 Japanese & besides, Thai have been in an entertaining industry much, much longer than Laos, what you expect! Success over night?
