I think that guy who wrote nasty laos language first is not Laotian. I think some one set it up to make Laos to look back. He also wanted Laos Nia and laos Nork to hate each other. He can't stand to see us love each other more. Just don't let him bothers you. He's insane and lunatic person. He doesn't want laos to love Thai or laos nia don't get along with laos nork. He wanted us to hate each other.

The reason for more aid: More corruptions, so some money can go to Lao government official pockets and very little goes to the needed areas.

Over a year ago I read the article on here said: The Lao prime minister annouced that he will prosecute Lao government official on corruptions (something like that) I would like you to follow that up. Has anyone actually been prosecuted so far? Just want to know if he means on what he's said.

As far as I can remember, Lao has always received a hand out from other countries.

Unless the Lao government is investing their resources on the education and development, Lao is never going to able to stand on its own feet.

Probably hand out is our country ways of life now.

I agree with you. New young generation believe strongly education is magical key to reduce proverty in Laos that right Japanese government wants to help us. They know no one lives on this earth is stupid. They believe in us. They trust our ability. They know we are intelligent. Yes, when the world war two ended, the countries affected by the war asked for compensation from the Japanese government but Laos refused it because japanese people died from the H bombs dropped by the US Air Force, and those who were alive became very poor, it isn't it touching act Laos has done ? and I'm sure that the japanese people shan't
let Laos down for what it has done to Japan. Now we ask Japan to increase investments in the southeast asia is not that we are begging.

The reason Laos didn't ask for compensation from the Japanese because Laos at that time under French protection and believe me French asked for compensation from the Japanese. Lao communist had notthing to do with it. Lao communist yet to exist .

It's better if Japan helps and not China or Vietnam. China and Vietnam don't fit in with the Lao culture. Thai can help Lao, Americans can help, Australians, Europeans even, but not the Chinese. The Chinese are rude and stingy. They don't ever smile either.

Laos need all the help that we could get so just shut up and look at the lao kids and schools and roads and heaht care and every things. To who ever complain , I don't think that you are super man . So only time will tell .....so if really care just show your idea and I will be glad to listen.

Yes course, There are a lot of the ass holes criticized and complained and they always act that they are smart and could do everythings but really they are just bunch of the ass holes could not do anythings. For me to give the ideas, is very simple , may be every body in the goverment probably know all and have better idea already . So excuse me to bring this up again. 1. Stop the corruption that is the most important thing that make Laos the poorest country in Asia. 2. Make the foreign company pay taxes , and all the foreign employees alo pay their taxes. So the goverment have to have top taxe law , so every citicizen must pay taxes specially the rich who make more than certain amount so they must pay more and the laws require to the poor who make under certain amount don't have to pay and also the sell taxes and the property taxes as well such house , land , farms ...etc... Right now the foreign companies and the foreigner don't pay their fair share. Every foreigner must pay to high taxes than Lao people. But for now , we need all the aid that we could get. Also we the goverment allow and have the contrat with Malaysia or South Korea and China just don't rush and sign the contract and shop around , we might have better deal with the west and the United States who did not want to send millions people into Laos. And also help help the Laos to balance of power from the other side. I might be wrong that is only my stupid ideas. To me the biggest problems that slow laos down from go ahead is the corruption. If this could be solve Laos could go much faster . But still not too late , we still have chance to catch up. Stop the corruption that is the key. Start doing now before we chop down the last tree and then we have no more trees to start collect taxes from the rich and the foreign com[ahies and make them pay their fair share. To prevent more Vietnamese and Chinese coming to Laos and make Lao people brcome tne minority to our country so make the new Law and taxes the Vietnamese and the Chinese who are living in Laos higher taxes and prevent more Vietnamnese and Chinese to come into laos . So for the Vietnamese and Chinese who are living in Laos and continue to live they must pay hight taxes.

May be Laos might need to hide the IRS to collect taxes for them and The FBI to clean up the corruption and the EDA to clean up the drug problems.

The United States incomes are come from the taxes. Every business and companies and industries are own by private coorporations . The US goverment own only post office and all other are own by epople.

Not exact but very close but my dad was born in Ban Sykhay. Now he passed away already few years ago.

Nothing to do with commnunist jusy coomon sense to protect Lao people in the future. Suppose 20 years from now 10 millions Chinese and Vietmanese become the Lao citiizen and Lao become minority in our own country. So the Chinese who come to Laos today are paned by the Chinese goverment and very loyal to China. When they become lao citizen , they will be rich and well educate and own most of the business and most of the lanf in Laos . But the Lao people in the coutry side or most of them ate still poor and will be the second class citizen. And soon when those Chinese who become Lao citizen will join the communiet party and have some power in the goverment and you know what will happen. They will take oevr indirectly in time . Sure Laos is still Laos but Lao people in Laos will be the people who have nothing poor not even barely own the land. Most of the people who own the land and business will be the foreigner.

Yes , If Laos ask the United States , Canada, Australia and England , Germany of course they will. A lot of private companies who are looking for cheap labor as well. Laos have to change with the world in order to catch up with the world. Still have time to catch up...

No , you get it wrong . Chinese and Viet namese help laos but they immigrant into Lao by the million people that make Lao people become minority to our own country. To protect and prevent or avoid the future problems. We shoud look at this issue carefully. 2o or 50 years from now there will be 10 to 20 million Chinese become lao citizen and control and own most of the business and own most of the land. But the Lao people who are living in the country side today still not well educated and still poor and still be a second class citizen. if all of us are stupid, of course chinese and vietnamese will takeover Laos and Lao will become a minority in Laos, Laos will become even more poorer in the next 50 years, i think you are pessimism , please be optimism about this matter ok. the chinese will open the Chinatown and University in Vientiane , Lao people can be smarter and become genius if they concentrate on their school and Lao can become a boss too!!

How about let all Lao's provinces becoming Thai's Chung wat and let thailand rules Lao, if those people who believe China and Vietnam are bad for Laos. Paw Kao, or ask USA ' let us Laos become one of your new state', because we are inferior than you, we are uncivilised, backwards, unable to build Lao.....is that what you wanted.

I don't say any thing about you are stupid just beware what will happen because there are too many Chinese and Vietnamese are living in Laos every day. We need to be ourself . WE need help from every one but just don't let them take advange of us too much. We should learn from our history and untill now . Why we are poor and weak because we are always not united. This will be my last confrontation with you and you could say what ever you please . So it doesn't matter to me any way because the goverment they will do what ever they please regardless of the people or not. you say or the people of the whole country say , they don't care any ways as long as their communist party agree and as long as their party and friend could profit and benefit from. You watch and see what I have told you ....Time and the world have changed and we are 100 to 150 years behind because of the very simple problem that is corruption. Also you say they will build the China town of course to sell their products and build the university and sure they come into Laos by million so they need school for their children to go to. Thing like these , we could get help from the other without importing million of people into Laos.
