If you are given a chance to be Laos political leader for 3 years, what would you do to make Laos more progressive?
No opinion that is bad or good, just give us your thoughts.
1, Stop corruption 2. taxe law collection , 3, Freedom ( democracy ) so open market to more big and indepepent investors and join the west market trade. Stop destroy the rain forest ( chop down the trees) Stop let the Chinese and Vietnamese come into Laos and shut down the casino and porno stores . Every Chinese or Vietnamese or any foreigner who are working and living in Laos must pay taxes and alian free permise to work in Laos.
Oh that's sad. You are actually one of those persons whose opinion I was looking forward to since this could be good discussion since its focus more on solutions... Or maybe that is your opinion, so I respect it.
LOL, the problem and what we shoud do , i think you already know it, I have been visiting this forum, i know it well, the corruption seems was the anwer of any laonok and laonais
What will you do if you're given a chance to lead Laos for 3 years?? Let' say I have three years to lead our belove country, Here is my top priority. 1. Reform our politcal System. losing-up a little bit more, and allow people to get invole in the political process not just a party members.2. Reform our Education System. Send the best students oversea or the around the region where they have the best education system, Hire the west to train our teachers to be ready for 21 century education system. 3. Get seriously about corruption, any party officers who's corrupted and found guilty will be hang or ( ying-pao) from top down.4. Reform our economy system , open more country to our neighboring or the west to come in to Invest , an dspread them around the country not just in one places. Reform the new tax-code systems.. If all of these 4 things put into work then every things els will fall into place.That's all ( ka noy have to say ) Please don't forget nothing is as easy as it talk than done..
Three years are more than enough to start something. o.k I'll take this challenge. These are ones I will inplement:
Strick border control - uphold & enforce strick laws. Keep unwarrented investment & unwanted people away from country. Open more border crossings with neigbouring countries.
Make one/two years military service a manatory after high school - our youngster need life displine.
Open more technical training colleges - electrician, mechanic, plumber, bricklayer, builder, these are people who will have hand-on building Laos.
Superannuation fund - we have to start somewhere. make it compulasory to have public service contribute to superannuation fund. Then introduce a laws to have super fund save for future by employee
Make financial institutions & banking stronger/competitive.
Don't say an impossible mission, who will give you that chance to lead laos, wake up from your imagination, bullsh1t, you just change the topic as what Lao government should do to get out of the word's poorest country? I probably say that first thing, delete Laos of the world's poorest countries. thats it
