I used to see only old age person in Laos that like to drink coffee in Laos. However, when I come to Japan to study for a few year, I found that people in this country love drinking coffee. When they go shopping and walk for a while, they always end up at the coffee shop.
-it's not funy after a few cup of coffee, some people can't sleep after coffee -Black coffee shop at the street is too strong and not good for youth -don't have a starbuck that offer quite tasty and fashionable stuff that attract more youth

Why coffee is not popular among Lao youth ?
Maybe it is the weather in Laos and Japan. A good cup of coffee is good when it is hot. Since Laos it is already hot they didn't want to make it any worst.
But isn't Nam Olieng ice coffee with sugar? Don't they still drink that?
Or it could just mean the trend had not catch on ....yet.
I drink only green tea or chinese tea but must be cold coz I don't like to drink hot drink. Today I like to drink Wheatgrass Tea (Organic Alkaline drink). It'as more healthy and high in fiber. I drink a glass of Wheagrass tea is the same as I eat 2 Kg of vegetable(fiber)
