There is a law in other countries that all kids must go to school until certain grade and I just wonder that Lao kid whom I saw in Vientiane was begging for money instead to be in school and a lot of them as well.
How much time should it take to reach out for all kids in the remote area in Laos ?
first, Laos plans to get out of world's poorest in 2020 and after 20 years, it's about 2040-2050, Lao kid can reach the target. i predict
By that time there are no places for them because all the Lao land and business will be owned by the Chinese and Vietnamese. So even they are well -educated at that time it is too late .

No, but richer and more people better educated and better opportunity than Lao people. Just look at the simple thing a lot of Lao children some don't even have decent vaccin to protec them from deadly diseases

This post ring a bell and I cant help to comment. In terms of decent vaccine... Id like to raise an argument. Laos has enough vaccines to protect its children from many childhood and deadly infection, such as measles. But the problem is it does not reach the children because of some factors: * inadequate govt support to enable health workers to reachout to those unreached kids * Difficult geography combined with above (no dedicated vehicle to vaccinators, traveling allowance, etc) * Poor health seeking behavior among the people, esp in the rural areas, * lack of awareness or understanding of the parents (sometimes even in some health workers) about the benefits of immunization * inadequate facility for storage and delivery or lackof electricity. * others...
My point is to make clear that laos has the vaccine supply, the problem is it does not reach the target beneficiaries.
Look at the photos, so many vaccines, like the polio vaccine (with purple stripes on top and purple circle at the middle) are just sitting there at the district. once the middle cirle becomes all purple, vaccines can no longer be used/ given to the kids. Such a waste of resources. other photo show vaccines still in good condition but if it will not be brought to the villages to give to kids, it will eventually becomes useless.
Ive also seen expired vaccines, not only one vial/ bottle but a plastic full of them... So dont be surprised if you will have outbreaks. Im not even talking about the AH1N1 infection because even other countries cannot afford the vaccine for nation-wide immunization. Im talking about the available free-vaccines for the children.
Watches are a beautiful thing. Certainly, they tell us the time - but aren't they so much more than that? replicas watches Through their watches, a person can express so much, and in a way it could be said:replicas watches Show me your watch and I'll tell you who you are.
