New generation of Lao in Laos PDR Only knows the communist leaders. I think Anouvong is a good name and it should remind Lao people all over the world of Lao history. Laos/Lan Xang have history before 1975.

To someone who said that new generation of Lao P D R only knows the communist leaders. Were you in Jupiter all this time? Wasn't Laos a communist country since 1975 until now? so Mr.Nouhak Phoumsavanh was Lao president from 1992 to 1998. Now you do the math if it weren't for him I don't know if Laos will open the country to the world , or if the King of Thailand will step his feet feet in Lao until this day?. Least but not last what about your relative from oversea? doyou think they can visit you in Laos easyly? not only that prior to 1992 Lao citizen can hardly leave Laos with out fearing for the safety of their love one that was left behind and I'm just talking about a short visit to out side your country
