ຫSORRY , I THINK I MADE A LITTLE MISTAKE HERE, THERE IS ONLY ONE SPECIAL ZONE IN LAOS ( SAISOMBOUN ONLY)  HONGSA WAS BEFORE AND NOW IT IS NOT SPECIAL ZONE.

There's still Bokeo province in the north...

Was Hongsa really a special zone in the past? Am interested to know more about this bit of Lao history.

As far as I know, Saisomboun special zone no longer exists, it has been absorbed into neighbouring provinces.

yes, right other mistake, how come I forget Borkeo, Hongsa was special zone, but now i don't know, all the information about laos just mentioned only Saisomboun. for example, Loneyplanet book 2007

Yes please tell us more about this special zone. I didnt know that there used to be 2. I know last year when I came to Laos that the one special zone was already absorbed in 2 separate provinces, is that right?

Can someone please give light to this. Thanks!

The reason why (Khonlao-nai) called Ban Saisomboun or Saisomboon a special zone is because ''a people who live in this area was a resistant soldiers who left over from Vietnam war era. a Majority of these people are our lao-Hmong and some lao lived along side each other. These people would n't dare to go out side this Area and out side people would n't to come in either, a few year ago (PDR's troop went in there arrested some of these people and torture even killed them ) some of these PDR+Viet's soldiers Rape a young grils who tried to find a food (Normai, Hapa, Ha munton et.... this stoies were almost ten years ago Ok.. and i don't want to Instigate between our Lao-Hmong and our Lao-people get into argument about this...

Because Sithandone has a distinctive history and a unique culture, they wanted it to be separate from Champasak province. Sithandone was once the capital of Champasak kingdom.

Watches are a beautiful thing. Certainly, they tell us the time - but aren't they so much more than that? replicas watches Through their watches, a person can express so much, and in a way it could be said:replicas watches Show me your watch and I'll tell you who you are.
