How many Thai tourists are there in Laos?

I used to read from somewhere, and it is said that the number of tourists from Thailand cover more than 50% of the total tourists in Laos. On top of that, Laos will host 25th SEA Games, so It would not be surprised that the number of Thai visit Laos will be increase drammatically.

B'cos it's cheap to travel. hotels, foods and warm welcome from Lao people that make Thai city people like to come to Lao just to remind them what the peaceful period of old Thai 50-100 years ago.

Not only Laos, Veitnam is also popular among Thai Tourists.
Thai people love to travel , you can see them in China , Hongkong ang Japan,too esp. in Summer.

But it's Lucky for Laos, because Thai peoples love Laos son much unlike Veitnam where some Thais complain about it.

I'm Thai. I like Luangprabang. But I hope Laos don't turn to be more Thai because sometime when I lived in Laos , I think I live in my province.

But I hope Thai people not to think that Lao is the zoo or the place where Thai people come to visit because they think to go back to see Thailand in the past where Thailand look like.

Anyway, they are the big group to bring money to spend in Lao and local people have their jobs with Lao tourism industry. I'm happy with that too.

I do like my own country in many ways and I am proud too be Lao,

I like its own beauty, peace, natural, and the way of Lao people live their lives, preserved their own culture.

      I'm Thai man, I think many thai people would like to visit Laos because it's so beautiful country and smile & friendly people. I have been visit laos many times it makes me remind my life when I was a young, calm & peaceful.
      I think Laos & Thai are relative, I hope we will be good relative forever.

The Individual Characteristic of the Damn man on this web board. It may have this kind of personality as follow

I think that would be great for Laos that we will have more and more tourists so that our GDP will be better. And I heard that Thai invesment in Laos also ranks number one, following by Chinese and Vietnamese. Seemingly, our economy depend on Thai invesment and bilateral trade with Thailand too.

I work in a hotel owned by Thai businessmen, and I have talked to many customers, they have positive feedback when they travel in Laos.

I know a place in Luang Prabang where mostly OLD Thai men go for a massage and something else if you know what I mean.

The ride are newer, fresher, and cheaper. While the ride in Thailand are OLD, USED, and EXPENSIVE.
