I agree with you. For those who never care about Laos, just shut up. These people always think they are superior living overseas. If they look at the mirror and closely examine themselves living outside Laos, they'd see that they are nothing more than just a minority, an immigrant, a refugee who is struggling in blue-collar jobs but still always boasting of having more money. What a pity for these materialistic people! allow me to remind you: though people in Laos earn much lesser, to a large extend we live a happier life, and most importantly we are living and dieing in our motherland. What about you living in foreign countries? Who you are? an unwanted guest, perhaps!

I believe if you decide to go back to live in LAO then, you must think about working, how old are you now? Because you lived live in USA for longtime and your english is a tool to help you to get work in LAO. Good luck folk.
Forget about the negative informations about LAO, I visite LAO for many times and I can assure you things are improving in all aspects.

I mean I have welfare in USA ,I can eat sea food lobster big shrimp without working compare to lao peoples no work or less income but work hard not enough food for kids I am so pity you guy in laos I really want to bring all of you move to USA no nood to work welfare will take care of you live eat like small king <serious > you guy in laos if your income less then 200 a month you can not live like me with no work ha ha ha do not jaelous on me ok my friend biggrin

I go there every 2-3 years, my grandmother lives in Vientiane
(my mom is a Laonork and my dad is a Thainai from the South)

First off, I hope to get a good job in Thailand and then I plan to invest in Laos
(I think I will run a coffee shop like Starbucks but I don't simply copy I will do it
in my own style) Do you know Teh Tarik? We drink this tea in the south of Thailand

and it would be nice to bring it to Laos to introduce new things to Laos

            work, I don't want to tell you, what I know, what I do , & What I have ,
