Ew..I never enjoyed Alexandra's music. The songs she released weren't very good quality and bored me. Her music videos were crap.

I prefer artists from Laos. Though depends on which company.

Lao music from USA sucks period. Lyrics are horribly written and way too rude. I don't think it's good to use 'meung' and 'goo' in songs.

Mr. bip_01/Simon cowell isn't Alexandra a star born in Laos? even though I don't listen to the kind of songs she sings I find that she can sing exceptionally well, lets be fair about it how about it Mr. bip_01?

I have to agree that Alexandra's music videos are very bad quality: the camera, the set, the casts, the clothes, the makeup ..... but hopefully she will improve these areas in future. However, I enjoyed some songs from her CD.  Her voice is great and no doubt Alexandra can sing exceptionally well particularly when it comes to live singing.

Lao Rap songs from the US particularly from male are offensive and provocative, Lao band LOG is 10 times better.

This song and artist 100% is not from Lao PDR or Lao oversea, but very  very nice song.   I had VCD of this album when I traveled to Golden Triangles district. This artist is Laotian-Burmese, over 1.5 million Laotian in Burma now.

Creative and style wise, no one can come close to L.O.G and Cells. 'Van Ton Jeut Pai' is the best music video I've ever seen so far that has been made in Laos- simple but smart.

For country music genre, there are heaps of them.

This is just my opinion anyway.

I love Lam Mahaxay too. I watched 'Nerakoon' documentary and when Lam Mahaxay was played (toward the end), it made me cry. You should watch that documentary if you've not already done so.

I'm might wrong, a lady owner of that music store told me that's Laotian-Burmese music. You should check the writing of song's texts above Chinese alphabets is Burmese alphabets. If this song came from SIPSONGPHANNA, how come they are not put Chinese on top of Burmese? SIPSONGPHANNA is one province of China, is impossible Chinese music authority is allowed Burmese language go on top of Chinese's.  That lady also told me,they made this video some where in Yunnan, China.

You could watch the whole documentary on Youtube. You may like it and feel the same way too.

I was carried away by the song because of its content. When a moving image is accompanied by suitable soundtrack/music, it just brings out so much emotion. I guess certain songs have certain impact on certain people. Some songs may remind you of some places or someone. In this case, Lam Mahaxay just reminds me of home, Laos. Its lyric describes how sad one was when s/he has to part from his/her family and how happy a person was when s/he finally returned home. Lots of people could relate to it, I guess. Think about song like 'Forget Laos Not' (Bo Leum Muang Lao) by Ketsana. If you are Lao and used to live in Laos but now are overseas. When you listen to that song, I'm pretty sure you will miss home (and even cry).

Anyway, let's get back to the topic.

You're right, I'm sorry. Do you know one of Lao's Poem?

SAAT SEE TEEN GNANG HOO PHALATH, NARK PART GNANG HOO LONK KHOUAM

The meaning is:

Four legs animal is still fall down, Scientist is still wrong.

or:

No one perfect!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Dummy! He said THE SINGER is Lao-Burmese. He didn't mention anything about the ALPHABET.

I think the singer is Lao from Sip Song Panna. I like this song better than the Bangkok influenced teen pop music. They have their own unique style. Not a clone of Thai's music.

Watches are a beautiful thing. Certainly, they tell us the time - but aren't they so much more than that? replicas watches Through their watches, a person can express so much, and in a way it could be said:replicas watches Show me your watch and I'll tell you who you are.
