If what you said above hold any truth, then there must be a lot of Lao-American Bill Gates running around in this world. There are approximately 200,000 or so Lao-American in the US. So please do us a favor and tell us how many Lao-American billionaire are there? Better yet, what is the poverty rates for Lao-American in comparison to other Asian-American?

According to the US 2000 census record, Lao-American are among the poorest ethnic minority in America. Why are these Lao-American are so poor in such a rich Country and so full of freedom/Opportunity? According to Lao Patikan's propaganda machine, the Patikan are the Laos brain drain but there are roughly 5% of Lao-American hold a Bachelor degree or higher.

Stop compare us to Singapore and Korea. Look yourself in the mirror and see where's the ethnic Chinese and Vietnamese are at in America

A typical Lao Patikan diversion tactic. You still didn't answer me on  your assumption that by aligning with the US and the West would automatically bring any Country prosperity and enormous wealth.

My question to you was: How come Lao-American are still poor among other Asian-American? What is going? If you motherfather do not benefit from the American in their own backyard then how do you suppose the Lao in the Lao PDR is gonna make any dramatic transformation from being America's friend? Think about it, genius! Think really hard, ok!
