I dont see anythings if they want to imitate and localize. we should learn from China, Korea and Japan, all these countries used to imitate western products and localize, even nowaday.. learn from them if you want to develop like them.

After Japanese known that Frang will do a research for that product and early than other nations said "OK. I'm agreed with you to do that research if you got a success I will buy that product also buy copy right to produce that in my country"

before China, it was Japan and Korea who copied about of foreign products and they localized it....

too much confident on ur self is not good, if you want to develop like other sometimes u have to look at them and find the way out how they do, and do ur own as long as the it is lawful to intellectual property rights.

If you only copy than you only become good at copying. In Asia I see a lot of copy. The students like to copy the teacher, it is easy to take the exam you only give back what the teacher told you. Later in grad school you copy what someone else has written a thesis on.

Later in the business world you copy the convenience store 7/11.

But that is the way to never think up your own idea. Who will invent the computer or fly to the moon?

I saw this shop in Siemriep, Cambodia too. It's funny that they copy from 7-11. Why don't they just go and buy the franchise from 7-11?
