because it's just very beautifull (and typical) and still peacefull.
It also used to be low price but now it's finished: guesthouse have become expensive.. only the small restaurants along the river remain cheap, but for how long?

Very beau-ta-ful! Tai Muang Luang are so polite, mild-mannered and softly spoken. Loud speaking is considered rude. Well, at least that's how I experienced it over 30 years ago.
Oh! And the women are exceptionally beau-ta-ful too.
