If you've evidence then let's show us here.  Is it true that Laos has given her chances to perform - what performance?  What makes you think that she hasn't done much for Laos?

I dont want to waste my time argueing this things.

"Slander

  • Slander is when people spread rumors or lies about a person in order to purposely cause pain or damage. Maybe they want to see this person humiliated or turn others against him or her. They make up lies or pass on embarrassing rumors that probably aren't true.
  • Most of the time, we only hear the word "slander" associated with adult conflicts, but it applies to young people as well.
  • When slander is in written form, it's called libel. You've probably heard lots of stories about celebs suing tabloid newspapers because the papers have published libel against them. The celebs usually win!
  • Slander is one of the most dangerous types of rumors, because the whole point is to hurt somebody."

I think he is a good singer.  I love all of his songs and can't wait for his new album.  To me, he is the best r&b singer from Laos (might be the only true lao r&b singer from there).  As for his english, I think he sung very well.  I enjoyed a lot of his english songs, my favorite titled "Father".  Love you Sam.

Oh yeah, forgot to add: he is probably the best young producer in Laos.

I suppose his english lyrics might appeal to non-native english speakers, but personally, I think his english lyrics are cheesy, uncreative, and not put together well.

And he's still the 2nd best producer in Laos. wink

Hey, DEATHEP even Julio Iglesias have very thick English accent I can hardly understand his singing, his CD were still very popular in the USA and world wide .
Is his trade mark and is what made him so unique and stand out !

I think Sam too can be as unique in his own way.

Why are you asking for Alexandra. I don't like her very much, she is not 100% Lao. And a lot of Lao people dislike her too. She is pretty but she spoken bad for Lao in the past.

To be honest, I think so, She seems not to be 100% happy to call her Lao. I think, it is difficult for Lao people too to educate her how to be proud to be Laotian. Or to tell her to  promote Lao during her performances.
For example to wear Lao SIN during big performances( at a small show is okay to wear anything she wishs). But for the shows that attended by official people, or receiving interviews at TV station, she should wear Lao clothes.  As some above mentioned comments that she does not like to wear Lao SIN during her performances. though she has much more chance to do so, compared to others. At the same time, at the same show, the other countries' artists wearing their tradition clothes. I think Lao people shamed when see  what she wear somtimes during her shows. why she does not take the advantage to show other her country"Lao tradition". Of course, she has been doing manythings for Laos, but not yet enough.

Anyway, we can not force her to do anything, because she has totally right to do what ever she she wish. However, If she wanna to have more Lao Fans, she should do more. If not, we just forget her, because there are more young real Lao artists now. Let promote those who wish to do for Lao.

What about you, are you wearing Lao men traditional clothes?  Or is it that you just leave it to your fellow female compatriots to carry on the traditions while you go about wearing western clothes.

Typical male chauvinists pigs.
