LPDR Judge, the LPDR invited Vang Pao for three main
reasons:
1. to bring the Hmong in White Water, Thailand back into Laos,
2. to make the Hmong Chao Fa surrendered to the LPDR,
3. to make the world think LPDR is good - willing to take it's enemy. Vang Pao's visiting to Laos has not affect on the LPDR's policy toward the Hmong inside and out side Laos. This case
Hmong Freedom II is careless and wish it happen Hmong Freedom II can not stand it any longer. Hmong Freedom II even
hated his very own brother in law a LPDR Judge.

Laos rejects Vang Pao's request to return home

Laos on Friday rejected Hmong leader Vang Pao's plan to return home saying if so he has to serve his death sentence first and authority in Vientiane has no intention to reconcile with him.

Vang Pao said in Fresno, California on Tuesday that he would he return home in Laos after New Year to end the long chapter of conflict with Communist government in Vientiane.

The Lao government monitored the news from the Hmong leader with no excitement and considered such speech from ageing Hmong general as a decoy for unclear purpose, said Lao Foreign Ministry's spokesman Khenthong Nuanthasing.

Laos to Vang Pao: We'll talk--when you're dead

After more than three decades in exile in the U.S., Hmong General Vang Pao signaled this week that he is ready to let bygones be bygones and return to Laos next month to negotiate directly with the Laotian regime. The government's response, in essence: Maybe after you're dead.

Bangkok's Nation newspaper reports that Laos's foreign ministry didn't exactly roll out the welcome wagon when asked about the legendary general's plan to travel to his home country.

"If he comes to Laos soon, he must submit to the death sentence that was handed down against him in absentia by the Lao People's Court after the present regime took power in 1975," Lao foreign ministry spokesman Khenthong Nuanthasing told the newspaper in a telephone interview from Vientiane.

Vang Pao said this week that he had received signs that the Laotian regime was open to talks. "The government of Laos has tried to open the door. We should put something on the table and sit down in peace," the general said in a speech Tuesday in Fresno, according to the Sacramento Bee.

The dissonant exchange came as the U.S State Department said it was "deeply concerned" about Thailand's plans to return about 4,000 Hmong refugees to Laos.  The U.S. said they were likely to face abuse if returned to Laos.

In his speech, Vang Pao said he thought returning to negotiate with the government was the best way to protect his fellow Hmong from persecution.

Vang Pao wants to come back to Laos just for his own status and nothing to do with peace.

No matter where he is if he wants to make peace he can still do it.  The problem is he still has the same Head so we assume nothing good is going to come out from it.

Could Thaksin go to Laos to invest and build  garment factory to export to Dubai thru Cambodia with his money after the coup thaksin is getting richer and is making more money thtan he was thai PM minister. He has more then 4 billion dollars now according to Dubai time.

If Thaksin becomes prime minister of Thailand again .Will Thai economy be better  ?  Will it be better for Laos if ther are more tourist in Thailand , then also there are more tourist in Laos . There used to have 14 millions tourists visited Thailand each years during Thaksin was PM . So Vang Pao doen't have any good if he id dead or alive.

To: All the Hmong in Laos and oversea,

I wonder if you believed V.P. is going to Laos, he is super liar. How he has power to negociate with Laos PDR government? His Power was destroyed since late 1973 after Laos civil war cease fire. He didn't care about you, but only him and his families. He gave you fake promissing to back you up later before him and his families fred to oversea. Over 35 years, did you see anything he has done to all the Hmongs in Laos?  How many Hmong got killed from believing his fake promissing?  Now he is in house arrested, how could he leaves the U.S.?      He is broke old man, only try to lie to collect money from some of his people in the U.S.    Now most new Hmong generation in U.S. are high educated peopel and not believe his words any more.

How cuold he help someone else? Even he cuoldn't help himself?

That is not the truth, general Vang Pao is free man , he could go any where he please. So Stop propaganda and rumor . Lao government said a lot of things and promise the Lao people a lot of thing but never keep their words as you could hear from the video, default the loans , broken promise said something and never meant what they said.

The US policy has any thing to do towards the Nigerian man  terrorist . Why have to point finger to any body. This is between the Lao government who said something to Lao people who want to return home and nothing else that they forgive all the past and come back to be as good citizen and help to develop the country that what The Lao government said. So that meant , they don't mean what they said.

I think Lao government welcome back lao refugees who did not wage war with LAO, but not Vang Pao group, the first page of this topic stated in thai media when they interviewed lao authority....the answer from lao authority was the dead sentence stand, with Vang Pao.

How 's about the Vietnam welcome the US investors and a lot of Vietnamese exile and also Cambodia welcome all the Cambodia exile . The US used to be Vietnam number enermy why not today. So Laos will continue fighting and hunting Hmongs until there are no more Hmongs on earth.

You read, I read, people read, so that's what we get the information, as I read longtime ago, Vietnam welcome back Nguyen Cao Ky, because after the war he became a normal citizen, not wage war like Vang Pao, I cound not find any information about Nguyen Cao Ky had a plan to destroy Vietnam or kill Viet leaders...and Nguyen Cao Ky said in the media when he returned to Vietnam is that he now only thinks about helping build the country for better future. In BBC they only said Thailand wanted to send Hmong refugees back to LAO, but nothing about Vang Pao returning to LAO yet.

The general has been once judged to the capital punishment in 1975 if my memory is still good, and if he return to laos again I think he would be judged again at the same sentence : Death penalty ! a man who created so much suffering among lao and hmong people deserve to be behind bars for the rest of his life , or the lao government would be kind enough to make a forgiveness gesture and let him come to laos once. Yeah! everything may happen in our human society...
