Thai clubs show interest in Lao footballers

Two players from the under-23 Lao national football team have been selected for tryouts at a Thai club, while the team's star player Lamnao Singto has already been approached by six Thai clubs.

What is your opinion toward this issue?

I hope he can earn a lot of $$$$ playing for any team.  Singto is the super star and hopefully Laos doesn't hold him back from signing with any Thai Soccer Clubs.

I have right to go. This is the big chance for him to go to work for international league for the first step. Better just playing for Laos with little pay. I wish him a good luck

kaison . i am sure they are interested in ,as for lamnao, His current club will increase the cost if any clubs are interested in negotiating .

this is good for Lao young players, they will have a high hope and expectation to become a good player in the region. and if our player have a good condition and good enough they might go to play in big clubs in EUro and japan or even china, korea clubs.

my cousin is national player at U16 now and he is 170 cm and he will be taller i guess..so i am great and supporting him to be selected as big national team and keep play in a good form.

That's good news for lao football players, and as for Singto..He have to change his style of playing, a true striker don't stand around and wait for the ball to be feed and used only his power, and speed. what if the midfield can't give him the ball. he's gonna be camping and offside along with opponent goalie? He has to be able to move around, stay away from defender, create open space, and be able to bring the ball from midfield use more skill and technic, hold the ball within distance or maybe he should watch more videos of football so he can learn from it. he's got talent, but need more lil developing in certain area to get to the next level. Or it's lao style of playing football? sending the ball up and let the striker chase the ball and put in the net.

Speaking to Sport Newspaper on Wednesday, Lamnao confirmed that he had been asked to play for six clubs in Thailand, but said he still wanted to lead the Ministry of Public Works and Transport team in the soon to begin Lao League.

“Most of the Thai clubs aren't offering enough money and benefits; playing abroad is good for experience, but the wage is important too,” he said.

Having read the above mentioned article Vientiane times, I feel that Lamnao is pleased to play at home.

sometimes, might and talent have their corresponding price... but as long as games are played fairly, i think everything is fair game.
