it's good to have a big heart. confuse

if laos is able to give even 1 kip to a cause,
it can show that people are able to think outside and beyond their own circumstance, for wealth is not their strongest attribute. confuse

Don't worry about Haiti, Canada and USA will take care of this country since it's also part of North America.  The USA does not want  waves of Haitians in flimsy made boats sail northward toward Florida. Whatever Laos can give is good since there are still la lot of Laotians living on less than $2 a day.

Late better than never Don't you think ?  well , 10,000 Dollars not bad for very small and poorest country in Southeast Asia. consider Thailand is bigger than laos, But, their government sent only 20,000 Dollars. and not Until their citizens came out and complained that their government embarrassed them because of the Aids to  Haiti.. and then, people of all parts of thailand jump together from private sectors to entertainments and all the way up to all kinda political parties,  see , it' about the faces Brother... so, as for Laos, the reason why it's  kinda late. Maybe Laos don't have a diplomatic tight to Haiti. they probably communicate thru- United Nation where all diplomatics seat it right now..another reason we might not have money, ha.ha....

Yes, Laos is poor country as you said, But, we as lao have a bigger heart than you think. if we have little, then we give a little. There's no need to give more than what we had. (bo tong kan hed ao na)....

Can you identify your source showing that Haiti is not part of North America?  I'm wondering where you learned your geography.

According to the following web pages, Haiti is an island in the Caribbean which is a sub-region of North America.

http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/na.htm

http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/map/atlas/north-america-geopolitical.html

http://www.collinsmaps.com/maps/North-America.aspx

Next you're going to tell me that Vientiane is the Capital of Vientiane Province.
