The Laos pavilion is part of the Asia Joint Group III and it shares a building with Myanmar (Burma). There is a model of Luang Prabang, which is an ancient city in Laos and rather large model of some kind of house or temple that takes up a large area in the center of the room. There are also some unique lanterns and handicrafts that are unique to Laos and you can buy most of of what you see if you think they’d look good in your house. The exhibition has several natural scenery pictures taken from the countryside and some text that refers to the sustainability practices happening in the country. All of this is nice until you see the giant board on display! Nothing says sustainability like chopping down an ancient tree for the expo.
