Many visitors of this site almost they're living outside of Laos then quite lack of the news from Laos. Now everyday the hot topic is Thai politic. They have no time to find Laos news (my guess) 

 

I would love to post more news from Laos, but internet connection is very slow and expensive in Laos.

I hope those who live in a fast internet connection world can contribute something to the website, and do not just come here to beg, ask or request.

I would like to propose this idea,

"One person, one day, one news, one post"

Imagine how many news we will generate from this website ?

Start now so that other can follow !!!

C'm on Bro, Be open just a little more..  If Samakomlao is Open to the Pulic, you have to assume that Anybody can come in here to read or post their comments don't you think ??  to me, It'doesn't matter who they are. Lao,Thais, Viet, Chinese, Burmese...

I'm Thai and have read your comment about red shirt protest.  I should say that your comment is biased and inaccurate but I won't blame it since I understand that you got all information from news coverage of international medias.  The truth is NOT what the medias reported.  If you ask farangs or expatriates who have been living in Thailand for over 20 years, you'll get one answer, "It's complicated!!!  Neither it's fighting for democracy nor justice nor class nor peasant revolution".   But most international medias are one-sided reporting and a kinda of "Entertainment".  People tended to support weaker side or under-dog so are the medias.  They support red shirt protest and blame Thai government.

It's not until Aljazeera discloses the video of armed red shirt guards with dangerous warfare weapon who shot at soldiers and killed one colonel.  These armed red shirt guards have forced army to use live round to protect themselves.  BBC is next to discloses the video of armed red shirt guard or aka MiB (Men in Black) and eventually, CNN, reports the truth by showing armed militia from the red shirts in its latest exclusive footage below.  Please read all comment of this clip after viewing.  Also be reminded that Washington condemned red shirt on Bangkok arson attack but DID NOT condemned Thai government a single word on using army to crack down red shirt.

ที่มีการโพสเรื่องเกี่ยวกับการเมืองไทย ส่วนใหญ่ก็เป็นคนลาวเองเปิดประเด็น และมีการพูดกันไปต่างๆ นาๆ ผิดบ้าง ถูกบ้าง ก็ต้องมีบ้าง เพราะเป็นคนลาวไม่ใช่คนไทยที่จะมาเข้าใจสถานะการณ์ทางการเมืองได้ดีเท่าคนไทย คนไทยบางคนก็เลยอยากจะเอาข้อมูลที่ถูกต้องเพื่อประกอบการวิเคราะห์ก็เท่านั้น

One part of your letter you mention that Quote'' Khonlao is not Thais, that's why lao do not understand the real situation as good as the Thai people,''  May i ask you ?? Why most of the Thai people alway got into a trap and lied by their owns politicians all the times ??? this is what you called a Khon thai citizens know well about their politics. this kindda thing kept happening in thai politics over and over in the past hundred years just like Cycle-Crime. But, nobody seem to be able to  solve this problem up until now..
