I agree with the decision of this plan so that, the student who graduated from upper secondary school (mor 6) and continuing to study at Mor 7 ,when they enroll to study at the unversity, it doesn't need for them to attend the prepairation class before studying in the 1st year.

Matthagnom Six students need one more year at school

(KPL) Upper secondary school students who have passed Year Six are obliged to take one more year before they go to higher educational institutes, said Director of the Secondary School Department.

DSC_0030-ffft.jpgThe first semester of the secondary school Year Seven is going to open in September this year, said Mr. Li Fong. The Ministry of Education has told its affiliate bodies across the country to prepare classrooms and other related infrastructures as well as educational equipment, textbooks and teachers for the teaching and study of the Matthagnom Seven class. Around 45,800 across the country are expected to finish Matthagnom Six this year.

From next academic year, students will spend seven years in secondary schools instead of six.

The addition of one more year to the secondary school system is among the efforts by the government to improve the quality of education in the country.

This will help reduce the schooling expenditure of parents on their children because they need not pay the tuition fees at pre-university class like before, said Mr. Li.

Students that finish Year Seven secondary schools Year Seven, can enrol in the universitys first year.

Accounting, management and computer use are among the key subjects to be taught at Year Seven to enable students to do a job if they dont go on their study at higher educational institutes.

We have faced some challenges in preparation for our Year Seven teaching and study. These include the improvement of curriculum, the lack of schooling infrastructures and teachers, said Mr. Li.

The ministry needs at least 3,000 teachers with bachelors degree to ensure its Year Seven education

Nahhh i don't think that my English is better than you Bro, it' very possible that your English is way better than mine. Anyway let' get back to our topic, Reform an Education. When i said'' Education Reform,''   i mean adopting standards, Using data to improve instruction and identifying persistently low-performing schools. the new education reform law  need to inposes stricter requirements for graduation and focuses attention on Core Subjects such as Math, History, Social study, Biology, and foreign languages like: English, French, Russian, and Chinese, these are very important for our new generations. it seeks to implement changes that will increase parental involvement and better track student and teacher performance. The new law also requires districts to create evaluation models for teachers and principles  that include student achievement as a factor. all of these, the PDR's government need to spend heavily on the Education Reform.  New facility or renovate the existing once, New Laboratory, and have  library inside the  every schools compound, well i have a lots of stuff to say. But, i ran out the Paper 555. alright bro, talk to you later. You have a nice day too....
