Well first of all if the Lao's government have to provide them the jobs, and school. they don't have to do this, and why they do this for living, because easy way to make more money then go to work or their salary. Even though they go to school or college there's no job guarantee for the graduates, unless they know the INSIDE peoples. The income of what they made from their jobs is not even enough to buy that last the whole month period, that's why they turn to prositutes that can make more fast money.

Yeahhh, you were right that most store were owned by the Thais. when i was home, i witnessed there a lots of small and midium sizes business ownes by Thais. except a few a Hydro-Electric power plants that partners with Italian-Thai. and mostly big and large projects usually go to fellow Communist like China, and Vietnam. But one thing that i do really appreciated these Thai business owners, they hire or employed our local lao man power. Unlike the Chinese and Vietnamese, they brought in their own people to do the jobs..
