Non of any capital of SEA can't beat Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Well said...Nangdarling... Me likewise, I've live here in the state 4 31 yrs. I do not care much about hi-rise building stuffs. I like vte the way it is with little improvement such as more public parks, more greens, more recreational places, better road condition, better sewage system and finally.....stop burning plastic and tires in the morning bcoz that acrid smell was bad image of the public & the city.

Do we have those money ? and for what reason should we build sky scrapers, it is not necessary for our country, for our capital but expanding the city at a larger squale, build more confortable large roads decorated with flowering trees , trying to produce more agricole products with lower pesticide use as possible for the local consumption, invest more in sewage management , we already have draining system in the city but it seems that we don't pay enough attention to them. The most important thing in this world is making people happy, a good living along with the clean nature is much better than having sky scrapers with noisy and smoky raods.
