Laos is goingto be one of the stations of the High Speed Trains which Thailand & China join the fund to build the High Speed Trains from China-Laos-Thailand-Maylaysia-Singapore

Thailand is going to build the short distant between Bangkok-Rayong first for the research

I can't believe there are some pple here make a living by diseminate the news, the rumors.  Perhaps they just want to change the topic to make it more interesting.  Maybe there is only feasibility of R&D project which won't happen anytime soon.
If U have a proof.............then.............post it here.

Oop! sorry. it was my mistake. There is no Laos on the list.

Only China>Vietname>Cambodia>Thailand>Malaysia>Singapore

The high-speed rail networks may cover three routes, although the specific ones have yet to be decided. According to the Daily Mail, the first would potentially connect Kunming in southern China with Singapore via Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. The second could start in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in northwest China and go through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and possibly end in India. The third leg would start in Northeast China and go north through Russia and then into Western Europe.

I've read a lots of articles here, i have never heard that lao government crying for the high speed trains like some of the country around here. especially, when Vietnam talking about their high speed trains, most of this people are crying, insult their own government. jump up and down crying and crying because of jealousy of other..
