Hi,
I just went trekking north of Chiang mai. We took a week off to hike Thailand's beautiful North. We bought our air tickets from the web. Got a great deal on Thai airways. Then we took air asia from BKK to CMX. After that we took a guide and went for a week-long adventure into the north west. It was awesome.

Highly recommend

If you come to Laos way way cheapper than chiangmai believe me!!
