I am a Human Resource Management (HRM) graduate (Bachelor degree) and Diploma in Business Management, and have experience working in Sayabouly province for about a year with an International organisation, plus other seven years working with one INGO in Laos. However, I am a male, I am not minority, but I am interested in this position, and it makes me think twice because I think I might not meet the enquiries. I think that the vacancy really needs to include this: 'Women and ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply for these positions.'

In my point of view - as HRM person, I think this organisation intimidate the applicants before they get the job...

Therefore, including this should be enough: 'CARE Laos promotes gender equity in its Programming and Organization.'

What do you think? Please advise me.

Thank you
