Any body know any development about the Chinese project to build the railroad in Laos?

the project exist, for sure, but is it a dream or a real project? who knows... so expensive to cross the moutains

Well , you are right . Maybe it is just a dream. But look at the channel tunnel from France to England . It is under the sea tunnel and they still had done it.

That is the tunnel underwater .

แผนที่ทำขึ้นใหม่จาก Googlr Earth Map ลากเส้นสีแดงโยงใยตามแนวถนนปัจจุบัน ซึ่งเป็นแนวทางรถไฟของลาว เมื่อสร้างเสร็จก็จะเป็นช่วงกลางที่เชื่อมการขนส่งระบบรางของ 4 ประเทศเข้าด้วยกัน คือ จีน ลาว ไทย และเวียดนาม ในอนาคต 5 ปี 10 ปี ข้างหน้า จะไปไหนมาไหนในอนุภูมิภาคนี้ก็จะดูใกล้ไปหมด นั่งรถไฟฉึกฉักๆ ไปเพียงข้ามคืนเท่านั้น

i like that we are doing the railroad instead of highway, which will be great later.
you can move more people and heavy cargo stuff cheaper.

The railroad is much better , we don't need traffic jam and burn too much fuel and pollution in air space . It will be better if the electric train since we are building a lot of hydro-power dams. It is good to transport our goods to the harbour as well.
