When was last time Lao PDR put its government official on trial for corruption? If that had not ever happened then, you can assume there is no corruption in Laos Lol. I can reassure you about corrupt people aroud the world are sent to prison and some even face death. As far as foreign aid is concerned, Australia also helps Laos to build more schools. What can you do without foreign assistance? Not only Australia and Japan try to assist Laos but many other countries as well.
Uh, it's very nice to hear that you flew home safely, but please don't forget to eat our motherland dish for me.I still miss eating fried cow liver with sweet tasty bamboo, some green onion and tomato in it and I like it juicy. I've been craving for this for quite some time now.Oh! By the way, please convey BLM's sentimental love to all those good-looking Laotian ladies at home for me.

I remember my mom made our dinner when I was a kid and for whatever reason it tasted so delicious man.We did not have a refrigerator at the time so mom would grocery shopped 2 times a day; one in the morning and one in the evening. By the way, how is our hometown Thakhek? Is there any change in the last few years? I meant, is it going from worse to better or better to worse?
when the bridge is completed, Thakhek will be more developed, of course bro, BLM, the city is changing, it is full of vietnamese . If u r talking about the environment , i think it;s worse, if you talk about Pousao, there are more in the town hehe ,however, I hope the govt can do something to promote the tourist and attract more investors.

The governor of Khammuane Province needs to immediately enact an immigration law making it illegal for those non-Laotian speaking Viets to reside in Thakkhek and subject them to deportation. These gooks are encouraged by their faggot looking president to moving into Laos as they had implied more than once that Laos is one of their newfound provinces and therefore investment in Laos is the same as investment in Vietnam. It is our rights not privilege. (Quoted---the foreign minister) This is something you would not hear from other countries whom with good intention and innocent desires to assist Laos.Vietgooks had this sinful, hegemonic ambition years ago and its desire to conquer Laos is quite transparent by using a modern-day colonization method. It pours in tremendous amount of aid and simultaneously setting the line for Lao PDR not to cross and demands Laotian students to study ideology of Marxism/Leninism in Hanoi and a constant glorification of relations has been quite manifested otherwise.
The gooks initially had obsessed with reunification with the south which it finally achieved that after paying a heavy price for it----a loss of over a million people mostly were emaciated, deformed, and dwarfish. The Vietgoon needs to leave Laos alone.

I totally agree with you, i hope the govt wakes up soon
Agreed BLM2010. Is there hope for Laos? I don't want to see Laos overrun by Vietnam, and Lao become a second class citizens in our own homeland.
If you look at the existing state-to-state relations between Laos and other countries, it is based on mutual respect and generosity not based on submissive loyalty.Vietgooks provided aid to Laos with reciprocating demands for political and influential allegiance. There is not much room for Laos to maneuver its foreign policy without Viet's permission if it deems insubordinate to its absolute authority.Investment and aid are just another pretext in justifying the massive migration of those gooks into Laos and slowly but surely taking control of the country from economic perspective to judicial interference in years to come and Laotian will be classified as a second-class citizen struggling to make ends meet under Viets' mercy.Vietnam does not and will not treat Lao PDR as its equal partner rather a servant and a master. Media in Laos are owned by state; as a result, no one dares to question anything that has to do with Vietnam. By the way, you identify yourself as Lao Isan, so why are you so concerned about the wellbeing of Lao people? You Isan folks have plenty of problems at home to worry about.
