if you go to some province in Laos, you will surely find the status of Ho chi minh. i think the construction may be already finished...or under construction..

Who is Ho Chi Minh? I know who Chao Chai Chetta, King Anouvong is. Khonthakek that ok for now about about Uncle Ho statue in Laos. We can knock it down later like Berlin wall when Laos become a democracy states.

or knock it down like Lenin status when the SOVIET UNION COLLAPED that is we have to wait for new Lao generation to choose what the destiny of Laos. but i hope the new young people won't be brainwashed by Viet.

I agreed. Because of technology new Lao generation see the world, they like western culture and see how democracy country are so prosper. If you give young Lao people US visa most will come live in the US any day because of jobs and opportunity. Democracy will save Laos because people can elected their own leader and government who will represent them.

         Agree, for over three decades Laos still the least developed and the poorest country . Look at south Korea and Singapore  only few decades after the war . South Korea and Singapore transformed their people from low educated people to well educated people and became the professional skill workers and turned their countries from poverty to the most modern countries in Asia and became the first world countries that what Lao government must take them as the model. What have the south Korea and Singapore leaders done to their people and their countries and their nation?

Laos need democracy to move forward, away from Vietnam control and influence. That is why Vietnam is worry. Lao people want freedom, they want good paying jobs and opportunity. Not same old same old Uncle Ho propaganda.

         I prefer the orchestra by Andre Rieu even it is sad music and much more romantic  and make you cry or make you sleep still more fun( the stranger in the paradise or the God father) than uncle Ho music.
