You are absolutely RIGHT! When we want to go to America and we need to take a very long long Q to get into the American embassy and not all of us will ge it. Just at the Embassy you need to wear and dresses with full option of your can efford to get the clothes and make you looks the best in your life. Just make them see you looks good and rich enought to enter into their country.
But when they come to our country? They just wear short pants + singlet + slippers and entering into our country likes they are walking on the red carpet

Thailand make billion and billion of dollars from sex industry. That's why Thai authority don't do much to enforce the prostitution law. Prostitution was supposed to be illegal in Thailand since 1965.
Prostitution is illegal in many nations but they just turn the other way and pretend that it's "all in the spirit of hospitality". What's wrong is wrong and should never be condoned.
Money and power. Prostitution bring in about $4 billion to Thailand local economy. Many people, rich and powerful also benefits from the trade. Hotel, taxi, retail store, shopping mall, restaurant, bar, night club. You name it bussiness is alway good.
Government need to crack down, but why would they, sex sale and bring lot of money to Thailand. It's not their kids. The rich and powerful send their kids to study oversea, while poor kids has to work in sex industry to make a living. And there is lot of poor in Thailand in Issan. Modern day slavery, kept them poor. If people are rich and educated nobody would work as prostitution.
Issan is the poorest region in Thailand, and underdeveloped. Because of poverty, and less opportunity that's why many Isan has no choice, but to work in Thai sex industry, as cheap labor. Rich and powerful in Bangkok know this. Some own brothel, bar, night club. They are sending their kids to study oversea instead of working as sex woker like Isan. It's about politics, money and power.
